MOUNTAIN PLAINS REPRESENTATIVE
POWERS AND DUTIES
To represent the Arizona Library Association at meetings of the Mountain Plains Library
Association at association expense.
To serve a three-year term as a voting member of the Executive Board.
To act as a two-way liaison between the MPLA Executive Board and the AzLA’s
Executive Board.
To respond to requests for information from MPLA and promote MPLA membership
within Arizona. Provide the MPLA Newsletter Managing Editor and the Public
Relations Committee with library news of the state.
Actively assist the MPLA Conference Chair, if an annual Conference is to be held in the
represented state.
To prepare a report of the year’s activities to be included in the Association’s annual
report.
